Okay... Like Seraphic, the book nearest me is in foreign... Giovanni XXIII - La carezza del Papa a pocket-sized anthology of quotations from Bl John XXIII compiled by Savierio Gaeta.
Bisogna volerla e cercarla in tutto, perciò combattere, pregare e attendere.
Rough translation:
The most evident sign that the will is decided consists in the desire to always listen to the voice of Jesus who speaks with his examples, his lessons, his graces, with the rules of our ecclesiastical and religious life, and then with the desire to distinguish oneself in this service with great things; but in the sense of union with the poor, suffering and despised Jesus. Everything that is not the will of God is fantasy, whim, nature. One needs to desire and seek it in everything, and therefore to fight, to pray, to wait.

I don't like tagging people, so I'll pass on that.

Yes, tagging, though not as bad as sending chain-mail, is naughty. However, I was full of fantasia, capriccio and natura, to say nothing of curiosity.

Hey, at least you had an uplifting tome beside you! So far I am revealed as a Teutonophile, Aelianus as dangerously contemplating capitalism, and Berenike is reading a war story. Jenny is reading a Recent Novel, and so is up there with you for style.

Seraphic,

I guess it's in my shy (!) disposition to like being tagged, but to dislike tagging others.

Anyway, I have a suspicion that Berenike was copying a few lines from her diary. ;)
