It says a lot about the world that I find myself increasingly using the adjective sane as one of the most emphatically positive things I can say about persons and things.

Not connected, but I have to say - yay, my deutsch copy of Il Papa's book arrived! And it has ribbon markers in yellow and white!!! Brushing up my separable verbs...
Now back to the exam marking. You'll get a proper email if I survive the 2nd-year papers!
